My goal as a yoga teacher is to have EVERYONE feel comfortable and welcome in practicing yoga, in being imperfect and embracing the journey, and in getting more than just a physical practice out of it. Though I tend to incorporate a lot of balancing and leg-strengthening poses, in my classes you should feel like you can modify any way you’d like to - which includes allowing yourself to take a 15-60 minute savasana if that is where you are at that day! I come from the social work field, so expect to find a lot of mindfulness and coaching in my classes :)
